Privacy Policy

Sticky Lingo doesn't ask for your name, email, or an account. Your words and progress stay on your device — this page explains the few things that do leave it, and why.

Information that stays on your device

Your word sets, learning progress, and language settings are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. They are never uploaded anywhere and never leave your device as part of normal use.

Live Activity & Home Screen widget

To show words on the Lock Screen or in the Home Screen widget while you're actively learning a set, the app sends your device's activity push token and the word list for that set to our own server. This is used only to schedule the on-screen word updates for the duration of that learning session — it is not tied to your identity and is discarded when the session ends or is stopped.

Analytics & crash reports

Sticky Lingo uses Firebase Analytics to understand which screens and features are used, and Firebase Crashlytics to get automatic crash reports so we can fix bugs. Both are provided by Google and may collect device and usage information (such as app events, device model, and OS version) under Firebase's privacy policy. This data is not linked to your name, email, or any account, because Sticky Lingo doesn't have one.

What we don't do

• No accounts, sign-in, name, or email collection
• No advertising SDKs and no ad tracking
• No selling or sharing of data with third parties for marketing

Children

Sticky Lingo is a general-audience language-learning app and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect any personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top.
